Founder's Legacy
The college was established by Sahu Har Sahai Gupta, a prominent agriculturalist and zamindar from the Moradabad district. A noted philanthropist and educationalist, Sahu Har Sahai Gupta graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Agra College in 1920. He became the chairman of the Moradabad District Education Committee in 1928 and established numerous junior high schools across the district.
He was also an influential politician, serving as a member of the U.P. Legislative Council in 1937, 1942, and 1947, and was the first Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Bilari in 1952. He remained a member of Agra University for 25 years. His contributions to education are commemorated by the “Shanker Sahai Har Sahai Inter College” gold medal, awarded annually to the student with the highest marks in M.Com. at Lucknow University.

His elder son, Padma Shri Sahu Sushil Sahai, currently serves as the President of the college. Meanwhile, Smt. Bina Sahai, wife of Sahu Sunil Sahai, an ex-chairman of the Bilari Municipal Board, is the manager of the college. She continues to oversee the institution with dedication and commitment.
